Students of the ESBS participate in student organisations and even have founded some of them. Most of them have their own websites and will be presented just briefly here.
The Amicale of the ESBS is a student association which organises parties, the Forum of the ESBS students, the ESBS sports teams training at the university of Strasbourg, the “integration week-end” for the freshmen, the participation of the ESBS students at the Interagros, a yearly sports festival of the French engineer schools and a lot more.
The Student Council is the organisation of students representing the opinion of the ESBS students and lobbying for improvements. Its participators support the Wiki of the ESBS, the evaluation of the courses, the student representatives on an administration level.
The organisation “Nouvelle génération des biotechnologistes” is the member organisation of YEBN in France.YEBN – the Young European Biotech Network – was founded also by ESBS students in 2002. Its national member organisations organise events where students meet industry representatives and supports the European exchange of students in the field of biotechnology.
The Alumni association of the ESBS connects the Alumni of the ESBS. They organise for example the yearly Alumni day and inform about job opportunities.
Moreover, there are the ESBS-cheerleaders, who cheer the participators of the Interagros and do a performance there. Additionally, there is the committee of the Gala, organising the famous Gala of the ESBS.
